I received a credit card offer yesterday from Citibank (a multinational company that received billions in bailout dollars from U.S. taxpayers in 2008):
Here's the deal!
- 0% intro APR for 7 months!
- Then just 22.99% variable APR
I'm offended that Citibank would send me such a usurious offer, and then suggest that it's a 'deal' (just 22.99% APR)! Did U.S. taxpayers receive the same rate when Citibank was desperate for public money?
