In my first two decades, I had always anticipated my birthday with some excitement. In this last decade, I've all but forgotten my birthday until a friend or family member reminded me.

This year brought a host of changes for me and Mary. I'm most thankful for the arrival of our son Luke, he's a true joy in our lives. As a parent, not much is more enjoyable and satisfying than drawing a little laughter, and observing his developmental milestones. Just last night he began to pull his knees up in an attempt to crawl!

It's also my identical twin brother's birthday. Happy Birthday Andrew! You're handsome as ever 😉
