I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Biostatistics, Vanderbilt University Medical Center. I am also an independent consultant with a variety of experience including clinical and basic medical research, economic distress research, civil litigation (as an expert witness), and general study design an statistical issues. I enjoy writing on technical topics including statistics, electronics, and computer programming. I also write about the outdoors, camping, hiking, cycling, running, rock climbing, and related topics. I have two sons Evan and Luke, daughter Avery, and wife Mary.
